Whole milk may help prevent weight gain
A recent study has found a correlation between the consumption of whole milk products and lower weight gain.
The researchers report that a regular and constant intake of whole milk, sour milk and cheese was significantly and inversely associated with weight gain, while the other intake groups were not. A constant intake of at least one daily serving on whole and sour milk was associated with 15 percent less weight gain, while cheese was associated with 30 percent less weight gain.
The study was conducted in Sweden over a ten-year period and backs up similar findings in US studies. And just when I stopped consuming milk…

I know what you mean, Stacey! I was pretty convinced that cheese used to be the most fattening part of my diet. Now, I’m not sure what to think.

if we all just ate foods w/ the fat they were intended to have, we would all feel full when we are supposed to and be able to lose weight in the long run…provided we watch portions.
