SuperVegan Laura Leslie has posted a list of yummy-sounding vegan holiday cookies that she made this year. And she makes an excellent point about vegan cookie dough - you can eat it without fear of the bad things raw eggs might bring (because we all know the dough is the best part).

This entry on WorldChanging.com makes a plea to Chicagoans (and others) to cut down on their meat consumption, for the sake of the environment. Cows, in particular, are devastating to the planet, contributing to everything from greenhouse gases to deforestation.
