I love that first article!!! I just found Mark Bittman’s video on TED.com last week and wrote about it on my site and found that article too!

It is so good to see more and more people bringing this situation to light!

As far as cutting back or stopping it completely - i personally think people are making a bigger deal out of it than they have to - if one really examines the consequences of eating meat and is honest about all the effects - I don’t see how they could ever touch it again.

I agree the article seems to be making a big deal out of what can’t really be that difficult… can it? As someone who hasn’t touched meat for 18 years, it seems easy enough to avoid to me. :)
