Vegetarian haggis

The Scots love haggis. So proud they are of this national dish (usually made with sheep innards), they want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to take part - even vegetarians. I’ve been served vegetarian haggis twice now (most recently at a very fun Burns Night), and I’ve never even been to Scotland.
So what does vegetarian haggis taste like? Well, kind of like spicy, savory oatmeal. Not bad, not exciting… but pleasant enough. And as a vegetarian, I do appreciate being able to be included in food-oriented celebrations, so I think it’s pretty cool that vegetarian haggis exists. It’s available for purchase pre-made, or you can try making it yourself.
Have you ever tried vegetarian haggis? What did you think?
